News & Announcements: Send Virtual Gifts as Tips
We wanted to let you know that we have revamped our virtual gift feature. Popular old gifts have been freshened up with updated graphics, and an array new of choices await.
A major new change to the feature is that you can now send these virtual gifts as tips directly from your favorite model’s chatroom via the tipping tool. Simply click the “Tip Me” button and select the “Gifts” tab. Any gift of 10 credits or more is available as a fun way to say hello and personalize your tips. (Gifts under 10 credits are still available to send in model mail and via a model’s profile page.)
Your virtual gift will be announced in the chat feed. If you choose to send your tips anonymously, that option is also available for virtual gifts just like standard tipping. You can also continue to send these virtual gifts through model messaging or your model’s bio page.
Watch for special themed gifts during specific holiday events and new designs we plan on rolling out over time. There is also and array of gifts that are exclusive to our VIP members.
We are presently in the process of improving the look and functionality of the tipping tool itself in a future update.

The virtual gifts as tips is kinda fun, but since their announcement in the feed is silent, sound-activated toys do not respond as with tips. Some reaction similar to previous holiday-themed gifts (candies, shamrocks, shots) might add a bit more excitement for models that use sound-activated toys.

I attempted this "new feature" today while the model was online. The gift was received in her in box... but did not appear in the chat window. I was somewhat disappointed and would like to know why this happened. I have submitted a help request regarding this matter, I do not want a refund... I want the model to get the tip benefit... but was very disappointed it did not appear in the chat window,

Thanks for the feedback! This is in the works and should be live soon. We’ll post here once the sound is activated.

Can I ask if you were on desktop or mobile and if so what browser? I'll try to recreate it as we're seeing the gifts when we test sending them.

I have used both a desktop and tablet... for me, it hasn't made a difference. I have also tried sending Anonymously and not. With credits and points. For me, nothing is seeming to work.

Just a thought: Are you using the "Tip Me" button while in live chat? The "Gifts" option appears as a tab at the top of the tip window. If you send gift from model's bio page, they will just show up in their in-box. Good luck Quote
