maybe limit the number of whispers per model or per hour so it isn't abused, but speaking from the other side, it really is helpful sometimes and distracting when overused, and i know it makes everyone else feel left out! Quote

Make it so it can be turned on/off by BOTH members + models
Everyone gets thier own choice to whisper and/or get whispers
This feature works well if NOT abused
Now said - I vote for Model Beer

That said, whisper works when not abused. If someone wants to say hello to a model, there is no need for a whisper. If he/she wants to ask for a special request in private or have a slightly personal question or answer, whisper works great.

I was chatting in an apparently empty open room recently when I started getting (so I thought) some really weird answers to some of my questions. After a while I figured out that the model must have been replying to another member's whispers without prefacing her messages with who she was replying to. Then I was accused of "interrupting" her conversation with the whisperer!
The one-way whisper facility can make for some confusing situations, but Flirt4Free won't act on our "votes" in the forums, especially as we all vote for different things Quote

i completely agree - it's even more hilarious when the whisper conversation is about something that's not even relevant to what the rest of the chat members are talking about!
although for the model that focuses on the whisperer and basically ignores the rest of the room, it sorta serves her right to not get a pvt!
how does a whisper come across on the models perspective? are they highlighted or stand out in some way? Quote
I try to talk to everyone and if I am talking to a whisperer I will say ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mr.Whisperer, If more then one person is whispering then I will say ................then the first letter of there name like if I was the one whisperer I would say ............Whisperer CV. They are whispering because they are usually asking a question that they do not want everyone to know or they are shy or they are saying sexual things. This after all an adult site. I thing the whispering is a good feature because then the person knows up front your boundaries so they do not take you pvt to find out you do not do xyz and then it is a let down for all parties involved. Also it helps the model to know what to get or what to expect. I wish we could whisper back for chatting purposes but to answer some of the questions when in reference to pvt session. That is my opinion for whatever it's worth. Additionally sometimes when someone ask something sometimes other customers will comment on what they would like to do in pvt. so if they whisper a lot of the time it actually helps the room because the room keeps the flow. If someone keeps whispering like we are in a pvt session then I will stop paying attention and tell them I can give them that attention in pvt. One last thing believe me some of the things whispered you would not want to know anyways
